What is Bergen without Fløyen?
Visiting Bergen without including Fløyen and Fløibanen is almost unthinkable. Fløyen is an integral part of Bergen's identity, especially when it comes to tourism and visitors. Therefore, we are very pleased to announce that Fløibanen AS is now one of our partners.

Fløyen and Fløibanen are not just Bergen's biggest tourist attraction, but also one of Norway's most visited, with over 2 million visitors each year. When thinking of Bergen, Fløyen is one of the first things that comes to mind. As organizers of both national and international swimming competitions, we are delighted to offer our visiting participants and audience the opportunity to experience all the wonderful things Fløyen has to offer, with favorable prices on the funicular via our partnership.
It's almost impossible to visit Bergen without taking a trip to Fløyen. Therefore, this collaboration will encompass all our events throughout the year and strengthen Bergen as a destination for swimming competitions. Our vision is that participants in our competitions will take home memories and experiences that extend far beyond the smell of chlorine when they leave Bergen.
Fløibanen AS's vision for the collaboration also aligns with Stevne Bergen's goals.

Especially with BSF
Bergen Swim Festival attracts participants from all over Norway and internationally. Swimmers from far and near come to the city between the seven mountains to participate in the country's largest and best swimming event.
In 2024, the festival set a record with 950 swimmers. Participants come primarily to compete at AdO Arena, which has top-standard facilities. However, we also believe that swimmers choose Bergen Swim Festival because of Bergen's exotic and adventurous destination. Especially for international swimmers, the city offers a unique experience they have never had before.
For BSF, Bergen as a destination and the city's unique atmosphere is a central attraction and a significant strength of our event. The partnership with Fløyen will not only confirm this position but elevate the experience to new heights – 320 meters above sea level, to be precise.
International Reception
Especially for the invited international stars coming to Bergen, Fløyen will become a popular destination. The day before the event, Thursday, April 3, a reception will be held at the top of the city, at ToppFløyen, offering the best view one can get. Here, guests, partners, and swimming stars will have the opportunity to experience the city and participate in a unique gathering in the spirit of swimming in the newly renovated premises at the top of Fløirestauranten.
Together with Fløyen, BSF will develop into an even more exciting and comprehensive event, for the enjoyment of swimmers, coaches, and spectators.
